Micropur tötet alle vegetativen Keime und Erreger, wie z.B. Typhus, Paratyphus, Dysenterie, Colibazillose, Cholera. Bei trübem sowie verseuchtem Wasser kann Micropur nicht eingesetzt werden, weil Amöben, Shigella und Bilharziose nicht eliminiert werden.
