Geschichte:
In diesem Fluss habe ich die Lage wohl nicht so gut eingeschätzt und musste mich schließlich durch einen riskanten Sprung ans Ufer retten. Über Kuhwiesen und letztlich eine Brücke gelangte ich zurück auf die andere Seite. Der Fluss sieht zwar malerisch aus, aber die Strömung ist nicht zu unterschätzen, und es gibt so manche Untiefe, die ich nicht bedacht hatte, als ich mich zu meiner spontanen Flusswanderung aufmachte... :D Das Flussbett liegt mitten im Nirgendwo hoch oben in den Anden. Krankenhaus oder Rettungshelikopter gibt es dort nicht. Im Fluss habe ich mir sogar Haare und Körper gewaschen, denn von einer Dusche, geschweige denn warmem Wasser, konnte man nur träumen. Lediglich die heißen Schwefelquellen, eine gute Wanderung entfernt, haben, vermischt mit dem Flusswasser, ein angenehmes Bad ermöglicht. Dennoch fand ich es schön, so eng verbunden mit der Natur zu leben und es war eine tolle Erfahrung.

Am Ende bin nicht nur ich, sondern auch meine Kamera heil und mit ordentlich Adrenalin unbeschadet davongekommen. Ich mag das Abenteuer, aber mit 19 Jahren wusste ich noch nicht immer, was das Beste für mich ist, ohne dabei gefährliche Risiken einzugehen.
