Sehr gut integriertes Holz und perfekt eingebundene Säure. Auch hier wieder dunkle Beeren, Kräuter und eleganter, ewig dauernder Abgang. Weinausbau: Fabio Motta kaufte im Jahr 2012 den Weinberg und startete die Kultivierung. Der Boden ist reich an Lehm und Steinen und ermöglicht somit eine eine allmähliche Reifung. Das ist eher selten und vor allem für die Merlot-Trauben bedeutend. Der Charakter des Weines ist mediterran und sehr ausgewogen. Die Trauben werden in kleinen Kisten geerntet und vollständig entrappt und zerdrückt . Wie bei Motta üblich erfolgt die Gärung mit natürlichen Hefen. Nach der natürlichen Gärung, reift der Wein 18 Monate in Barriques, wovon ein Drittel neu ist.
