Der Pflanzkübel aus Cortenstahl verleiht jeder Außenanlage eine robuste und warme Ausstrahlung durch seine charakteristische orangebraune Rostfarbe. Diese entsteht durch einen natürlichen Oxidationsprozess des Stahls, auch als wetterfester Stahl bekannt.

Das Produkt wird ohne Rostschicht geliefert. Nach der Aufstellung beginnt der natürliche Rostprozess, der je nach Witterung etwa 4 bis 5 Monate dauert.

Während dieses Prozesses bildet sich eine schützende Rostschicht, die weitere Korrosion verhindert. Dadurch wird die Lebensdauer des Pflanzkübels deutlich verlängert und das Material bleibt über viele Jahre stabil und belastbar.
