Im Weingut Sette Ponti gibt es viele Stars, ob es der kleine Supertuscan Crognolo 2017 ist oder der jetzt schon legendäre Vigna dell Impero 2013- ein reiner Sangiovese aus den ältesten Sangiovese Parzellen des Weinguts. Dr. Morette von Sette Ponti ist der Oreno 2017 eine Herzensangelegenheit. Der Oreno 2017 besteht heute aus einer Blend von Cabernet, Merlot und einer guten Portion Petit Verdot. Im Gegensatz zum Orma 2017 ist das ein feiner aber kleiner Unterschied. Zudem liegen die Weinberge für den Oreno 2017 von Sette Ponti im Herzen des Chianti Gebiets. Hier wo die sanften Hügel der Toskana sich so malerisch in die Landschaft schmiegen, die Alleen von den typischen Zypressen geschmückt sind, es nach Rosmarin duftet und die grossen berühmten Chiannina Rinder auf den Feldern weiden, hier gedeihen die Reben in so grossartigen Jahrgängen wie 2017 zur perfekten Reife. Das schmekt man im Oreno 2017 von Sette Ponti der immer mit einer grossen Portion Finesse aufwartet.
Glänzendes, tiefes Rubinviolett. Kompakte Nase mit intensiven Noten nach dunklen Johannisbeeren, Brombeeren und Tabak, spannendes Spiel. Zeigt Wärme und Feuer, saftige, satte Frucht und entfaltet sich mit feinkörnigem, dichtem Tannin und endet mit einem furiosen Finale nach edler dunkler Schokolade.
