Besonderheiten: Diese limitierte Sonderabfüllung wurde anlässlich des Campbeltown Malts Festival 2025 präsentiert. Der 9 Jahre alte Single Malt wurde aus stark getorftem Malz destilliert und zunächst in First-Fill-Bourbonfässern gereift. Anschliessend erhielt er ein fünfmonatiges Finish in Rotweinfässern aus dem spanischen Ribera del Duero, was ihm eine besondere Tiefe und Komplexität verleiht. Abgefüllt wurde er in Fassstärke mit 54,3% Vol., ohne Farbstoffe und ohne Kühlfiltrierung.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nase: Ein unverwechselbarer maritimer Charakter, überlagert von Torfrauch, der den typischen Glen Scotia-Stil widerspiegelt.
  • Gaumen: Reife rote Früchte, saftige Brombeeren und ein Hauch von Lakritz, die dem komplexen Charakter Tiefe verleihen.
  • Abgang: Lang und komplex, mit einer harmonischen Verbindung von Rauch und fruchtigen Noten.
