Gut strukturierter Crémant mit einem großen Aromenspektrum aus reiner Pinot Noir Traube. Er zählt zu den beliebtesten Crémants aus der Weinbauregion Elsass. Benannt wurde er nach dem früheren Schutzherrn der Weinberge bei Hunawihr Papst Calixte II.

Dieser Crémant d'Alsace wird durch eine zweite alkoholische Gärung in der Flasche hergestellt, nach den Regeln der Champagner-Methode. Nach 12 Monaten Reifung auf Lamellen werden die Flaschen täglich gedreht, so dass sich die Ablagerung im Flaschenhals sammelt, während auf die Degorgation gewartet wird. Auch dieser Cremant ist handgerüttelt und flaschenvergoren. 

Perfekt als Aperitif ebenso wie als Begleiter zu feinen Vorspeisen.

Great cream, not so great price

My one year old has recently started to have eczema in these warmer months and I had heard good things about this ointment so I wanted to give it a try. I grew up with eczema and still have ongoing issues with it and didn’t want her to have to go through the same thing. I also wanted to avoid steroid creams if at all possible so I went straight for “the big guns” and purchased this thinking “oh it has to be the holy grail for this price”. Don’t get me wrong it is a decent eczema cream, but not for the price. You can find much cheaper creams that have the same results. I used this religiously with my daughter and it still did not clear up her eczema. Took her to her pediatrician and ultimately had to use a short term low dose topical steroid that cleared it right up. As far as daily maintenance use I will opt for a less expensive version next time.
