Geschichte

Peill & Putzler hatte in den 50er Jahren fünf Glasöfen, in den 1970er Jahren kamen noch zwei dazu. In Spitzenzeiten war die Glashütte der größte Arbeitgeber der Stadt Düren mit bis zu 1.500 Arbeitern.

Wilhelm Wagenfeld, den wir alle kennen (1900–1990), entwarf für Peill & Putzler von 1952 bis 1958 Leuchtenprogramme. Weitere für das Unternehmen tätige Designer waren zum Beispiel Wilhelm Braun-Feldweg und Helmut Demary. Peill & Putzler gehörte außerdem zu den Gründungsmitgliedern des Rates für Formgebung im Jahr 1953.

I was really excited to try the Steve Madden Women's Wafer Heeled Sandals, but unfortunately, I’m disappointed with the quality. The straps are stiff, and they rubbed against my skin, causing discomfort after only a short amount of time. While the heel height is cute, the overall construction doesn’t seem to provide enough support, which made walking in them less comfortable than I anticipated. Definitely go up an entire size in these. I used to work at Steve Madden and can tell you with 100% confidence if you're ever buying one of their heels with a pointier toe, you need to go up an entire size or your foot is going to suffer. These are a perfect "high" stiletto, they're definitely not low and I wouldn't say they're a breeze to walk in unless you're used to heels. I will vouch for how comfortable they are though given the height and the shape - they're as comfortable as a heel like this could be for sure! If you have skinnier ankles, definitely recommend punching an extra hole in the strap.

The onlyyyyyy issue I have is that the toe strap is so close to the front and tight (as you can see)!! I got the correct size but wish I didn’t have to stretch them out (which is almost impossible because that leather is stiff). The shoe is not very bendable but I personally like it because the shoe is sturdy.
