Sie zeigen einen Künstler, der sich ideologischer Vereinnahmung entzog und dessen Werk einen unverzichtbaren Platz in der deutschen Bildhauerei nach 1945 einnimmt.Wieland Schmiedel (1942–2021) war einer der profiliertesten Bildhauer Ostdeutschlands. Nach seiner Meisterschülerzeit an der Akademie der Künste Berlin arbeitete er freischaffend in Crivitz. Sein Werk, darunter bedeutende Denkmalanlagen in Schwerin, Magdeburg und Neuruppin, widmet sich konsequent der Erinnerung an die Opfer von Krieg und Gewaltherrschaft.

Very nice if you aren't too pick on actual color.

Colors may vary. I really liked this, it was the perfect size and that perfect combination of soft and fluffy, but not being "too fluffy" and looking like a shaggy dog that needed a haircut. My only complaint was the color. Supposed to be blue, and I know monitors and lighting distort stuff but this was an obvious turquoise/teal. Much much greener than I was looking for. I could have made any variant of an actual blue work from powder baby to practically navy, but not this. I had to return, but other than the color, this seemed to be a very nice rug. Sad the color was so off.

Gorgeous, thick, fluffy, neutral scent. PERFECT!!
Color: Ivory, Size: 2' x 6' (Double Pelt)
Size and color as described, very soft and cozy. It's made of a thick material and sewn very well. Looks to be able to withstand years of use as a recliner cover for an elderly person. The soft cushiony feeling makes sitting or laying for prolonged periods of time much easier on a body.
I'll even get more from the brand for the pets to sleep on.
