Der 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Grande Réserve Weingut Bietighöfer wird im 500l Tonneaux der berühmten Tonnelerie Sylvain aus dem Pomerol ausgebaut. Die handgelesen, sorgsam selektierten Sauvignon Trauben, werden spontanvergoren, unter Verzicht von Schönung. 12 Monate reift der Wein auf der Vollhefe.

Nase und Gaumen:
In der Nase haben wir dezente Noten von Kräutern, Paprika, Minze, die typische Stachelbeere, etwas rauchiges an Feuerstein erinnernd, leichte Röstaromen, Zitrone. Am Gaumen ist er kraftvoll, salzig - mineralisch, mit Säure - Biss. Das Hefelager und der dezente Holzausbau sorgen für verführerische Cremigkeit und zarten Schmelz. Alle Aromen sind miteinander verwoben und bilden ein wunderbare Geschmackssymbiose.

Das ist ein komplexer, vielschichtiger Weißwein. Den Weinen der Loire ganz nah.

I feel like skinny straps always dig into my arm, but this one is comfy. I liked it so much that I got another one in red as well. Overall, it’s a great bag and I recommend it to anyone who needs a Mary Poppins bag to hold a lot of things.
