Dieses hochwertige Ersatzteil ist speziell für erhöhte Haltbarkeit und eine fortschrittliche Schalldämpferkonstruktion entwickelt worden. Es besteht aus leichtem Titan und ist mit einem handgefertigten, neu gestalteten Hitzeschild und Endkappe aus Kohlefaser versehen, was neben der funktionalen Verbesserung auch optisch beeindruckt.

Im Vergleich zur Standardversion des Motorrads ist das Akrapovic Auspuffsystem um 24% leichter. Alle komplexen Bauteile werden in der firmeneigenen Gießerei hergestellt. Das System ist EC/ECE-zertifiziert und lässt sich einfach und ohne Neukonfiguration der Motorsteuerung installieren. Ein besonderes Merkmal ist der doppelflüssige Schalldämpfer mit integriertem Auslassventil, der einen unverwechselbaren Klang erzeugt. Dieser wechselt spürbar zwischen einem pulsierenden Schlag bei hohen Drehzahlen und einem tiefen, vollen Klang bei fallenden Drehzahlen.

I wear mine indoors and out for short trips to the patio and backyard. The sole material looks to be durable enough to last more than one season with this type of use. The footbed itself has just the right amount of padding: not so much that the foot can slid to the side and not so thin you can feel the joints in a tile floor ;-)
