Die Bewohner Hyrules verschwinden in merkwürdigen Rissen, die sich auftun. Unter den Vermissten befindet sich auch ein gewisser Schwertkämpfer und nun ist es an Prinzessin Zelda, ihr Königreich zu retten.

Verbünde dich mit der geheimnisvollen Fee Tri und nutze die Macht des Tri-Stabs, um zu lernen, wie man Imitate – sogenannte Echos – von Dingen aus der Umgebung erschafft. Diese Echos kannst du dann, wann immer du möchtest wieder erschaffen, um Rätsel zu lösen oder Feinde zu besiegen.

Erschaffe beispielsweise Echos von Wasserblöcken, um höhere Regionen zu erreichen, baue Brücken aus Betten, wirf Steine auf Feinde oder finde eigene kreative Weisen, Echos miteinander zu kombinieren, wie es dir gefällt. Du kannst sogar Echos von Monstern erschaffen, die an deiner Seite kämpfen!
