Die Gebissschenkel herkömmlicher einfach gebrochener Gebisse sind fertigungstechnisch bedingt unterschiedlich lang, wodurch einseitig immer etwas mehr Druck ausgeübt wird. Diesem Problem der ungleichen Druck verteilung entgehen Sie durch Verwendung eines TURNADO Gebisses. Das Gelenk in der Mitte dieser Gebisse wurde um 45° nach vorne geneigt, um eine gleichmäßige Druckverteilung zu gewähr leisten und Gaumendruck zu vermeiden.Die Drehung ist durch eine leicht angeraute Oberfläche (Sandstrahlung) des Mundstücks im mittleren Bereich des Gebisses gekennzeichnet.
