Die praktische Gleitsohle ermöglicht dabei auch bei schlecht gleitenden Stoffen ein einfaches Arbeiten. Durch die trapezförmige, grosse Aussparung kann der Stoff ungehindert transportiert werden. So kann der Stickfuss gut über kompakte Stichmuster gleiten.

Das Aussparung garantiert zudem eine gute Sicht auf den Nähbereich.
