Das einst blühende Römische Reich ist zerfallen. Wer kann der Versuchung widerstehen, einige der Ländereien für sich zu beanspruchen? Bevorzugen Sie Weinberge oder Steinbrüche? Oder wollen Sie von allem ein bisschen, mit ein paar Olivenhainen und einer Ölmühle obendrein? Alles, was du brauchst, ist ein guter Tausch: Biete ein schönes antikes Theater zum Tausch an oder gib ein paar wertvolle Diamanten dazu... Teile und tausche Ländereien, überliste und besteche deine Gegner! Erschaffe ein blühendes Reich aus den Grundstücken Roms!

Vor dem Start erhalten alle Spieler ihren persönlichen Satz an Gebäuden mit der Gebäudekarte, einen Stapel Landplättchen (es gibt 5 Arten - Felder, Städte, Olivengärten, Edelsteine und Kristalle), Auswahlkarten für kleinere und größere Länder, Erinnerungskarten und Sichtschirme.

Zug um Zug bauen sie ihre Domänen auf, indem sie die geeignetsten Ländereien nehmen, um ihr so genanntes neues Reich profitabler zu machen.

Wie erhält man Punkte?
Für jede Geländeart mit dem entsprechenden Gebäude, das darauf oder daneben steht. Dann wird die Anzahl der Ländereien mit der Anzahl der Gebäude für JEDE Art von Land multipliziert. Die Kristalle, die man für die Wahl kleinerer Ländereien erhält, bringen ebenfalls Punkte - 3 Punkte für jeden Kristall.

Der Spieler mit den meisten Punkten gewinnt das Spiel.
