SCHNELL UND EINFACH ZU BEDIENEN. Den werkzeuglosen Tankverschluss können Sie dank des Bajonett-Verschlusses mit nur wenigen Handgriffen öffnen und schließen.
FÜR EINE GUTE PLANBARKEIT. Mit einem Knopfdruck informiert Sie die LED-Ladezustandsanzeige jederzeit über die Restkapazität Ihres Akkus. Damit können Sie Arbeitszeiten gut planen und den Akku rechtzeitig laden.
ZUM ANBRINGEN EINER ABSTURZSICHERUNG. Um den Gehölzschneider bei kletternden Arbeiten gegen das Herabfallen zu sichern, wird der zum Lieferumfang gehörende Überlastring an einer der beidseitig angebrachten Einhängeösen eingehängt und dann zum Beispiel mit einem Karabinerhaken und einem kurzen Seil am Klettergurt angebracht.
WARTUNGSARM UND EFFIZIENT. Dank der kompakten Bauweise, des geringen Gewichts und des hohen Wirkungsgrades ermöglicht Ihnen der EC-Motor ein energieeffizientes Arbeiten. Zudem besitzt dieser Motor eine hohe Lebensdauer.
SCHUTZ VOR VERLUST Die Muttern sind verliersicher am Kettenraddeckel angebracht. Beim Abnehmen des Deckels ist es so nicht möglich, dass die Muttern herunterfallen und verloren gehen.
KONSTANTE LEISTUNG UNABHÄNGIG VOM LADEZUSTAND DES AKKUS. Bei Akku-Geräten anderer Marken nimmt die Leistung in der Regel während des Arbeitens mit zunehmender Entladung des Akkus ab. Bei STIHL Akku-Geräten mit CONSTANT POWER ist das nicht so. Dank der intelligenten Elektronik arbeitet Ihr STIHL Gerät durchgehend mit konstant hoher Leistung.
SCHUTZ VOR SPRITZWASSER. Die IPX Schutzklassen definieren den Feuchteschutz elektrischer oder elektronischer Geräte. Die Feuchteschutzprüfung ist in verschiedenen Stufen definiert. IPX4 prüft dabei den Schutz gegen allseitiges Spritzwasser. Akku-Geräte mit dieser Zertifizierung sind somit für den täglichen Einsatz auch bei Regen konzipiert.

Der Akku-Gehölzschneider STIHL GTA 40 arbeitet mit 2 Lithium-Ionen-Akkus aus dem STIHL AS-System und eignet sich ideal für die Baum- und Gehölzpflege, für professionelle Arbeiten im Garten- und Landschaftsbau sowie die Verarbeitung von Holz und holzartigen Stoffen auf Baustellen. Zudem darf der STIHL GTA 40 von ausgebildeten Baumpflegerinnen und Baumpflegern für Schnitte in der Krone des stehenden Baumes genutzt werden. Ganz gleich ob bei der Gehölzpflege in Parks und Gärten, bei Kronenkorrekturen, im Trockenbau, Innenausbau oder bei Dacharbeiten: Der GTA 40 überzeugt neben seiner kompakten Bauform, dem geringen Gewicht und der ausgewogenen Balance bei Vor-, Rückhand- und Stechschnitten auch durch seine hohe Schnittleistung und die lange Akku-Laufzeit.
Basis für ein sauberes Schnittbild und einen schnellen Arbeitsfortschritt sind der besonders leistungsstarke EC-Motor und die STIHL 1/4"-PM3-Sägekette. Die drehzahlabhängige, automatische Kettenschmierung ist ein weiterer Vorteil des STIHL GTA 40. Für eine präzise Handhabung verfügt der Akku-Gehölzschneider über einen ergonomisch geformten Bediengriff mit Handschutz und eine obere Griffstelle für die zweite Hand. Sie ist so geformt, dass ein Abrutschen bestmöglich verhindert wird. Die davor angebrachte, krallenförmige Abweisgeometrie grenzt den oberen Griffbereich zudem optisch und haptisch von der Schneidgarnitur ab. Das mechanische Bediensystem mit beidseitiger Wippe, die variabel dosierbare Kettengeschwindigkeit, der Kettenraddeckel mit seitlicher Kettenspannung sowie die LED-Ladezustandsanzeige sind weitere Vorteile des GTA 40. Nicht zu vergessen: die beidseitig angebrachten Einhängeösen aus Stahl zum Anbringen einer Absturzsicherung – zum Beispiel in der kletternden Baumpflege.

Great for big dogs

Our pup is now 15 months old (nearly 110 lb and still growing). We got this ball when he was 3 or 4 months old.
GOODS -
- Our pup fetches with extreme drive, and the rope helps him quickly snatch the ball off the ground (versus a tennis ball, in which we are worried he will go head over heels at times)
- Our pup also loves to play fetch in the water, and this ball floats great and again, the rope gives another point to bite onto
- The yellow color is easy to see, even in grass
- Our pup typically fetches the ball, and leaves the rope mostly out of his mouth. So, throwing the ball doesn't result in saliva-covered hands
- It's pretty easy to throw the ball 50', and possible to throw it 100'
- It doesn't roll/bounce, so if you are for example playing fetch on your front lawn and are concerned with a tennis ball rolling into the street, this one alleviates that issue
- Our pup is spoiled and has several balls. This is absolutely his go to ball. We have woken up in the morning before to see him standing next to the bed with the ball in his mouth, asking us to get up and play.
BADS -
- Occasionally when he goes to fetch it, he will step on the rope as he tries to pull up on the ball.
- We have gotten this ball stuck in trees multiple times. In fact, there is one stuck on the roof of our church from playing fetch on the lawn there. :-/ Not a fault of the ball, but if you start whipping it around like nunchucks, it might not go where you want.
- The near max you can through this ball is 100'. And since it doesn't roll/bounce, throw distance is throttled. We often play fetch in a local baseball field, and have no issue wearing him out with this ball. However, if you are planning on throwing a ball the distance of half a football field, you might want to consider something else.
SIZE -
- We purchased both the medium and the large. Even though our pup is huge and can fit a soccer ball in his mouth, he still prefers the medium. It's easier for him to get in his mouth and breath while running back. The medium is the size of an orange, whereas the large is the size of a grapefruit.
DURABILITY -
- We have gone through about 4 of these balls, BUT this is because we lost 3 of them. We believe he dropped one out of the car window while we were driving, one is on the roof of our church, and I forget about the other one. On the first one we had, the stitching behind the black tape was down to a few threads after about 5 months. Given duration we use these balls (every day) and the joy he gets from them, I feel the durability is good for the price.
- We do play tug with the ball at times, and no issues there

Good but better options out there.
Good ball, but is a cheaper version of the Foamster sold online. The rope is cheap and comes apart, and can be abrasive to a dogs mouth. The Foamster uses a higher quality ball and are more durable and use grippy biothane straps rather than cheap rope. They are also made to order in the USA with lots of fun colors. Worth the extra money if your dog likes these balls.

Fun toy for fetch

Daisy loves this toy. I found it from her dog trainer, and it makes rewarding her with a quick tug of war and fetch really easy. Also it’s shockingly durable. It looks like foam, but she has not destroyed this one.

Sturdy and soft like hiking on clouds

I am in love with these socks! In fact I've reordered five more times and have told my hiking friends about them, and they've ordered them now, too. We all love them. This is an excellent price for a 70% Merino wool sock. They wick away moisture & keep your feet nice and dry and comfortable in your boots. They're very cushiony yet your feet do not overheat. I bought these for the gym and for hiking. I actually hike about a hundred miles a month so I can tell you these socks go through a lot with me! The ankle cut socks are perfect for both my trail runners and my actual low ankle boots. The arch support keeps the sock firm on my foot and does not allow the sock to bunch up down towards the toe. The Merino wool helps to control moisture and my feet do not stink after a 6-7 mile hike. And oh my gosh they are so soft! It's like walking on clouds. I've had no issues with holes in the socks and will definitely update later if I do. I highly recommend these socks and tell your friends about them too
