Das Projekt wurde jedoch vorerst gestoppt. Erst in den späten 1980er Jahren nahm BAE die Entwicklung wieder auf – das Ergebnis war die BAE 146. Bereits mit dem Erstflug wurde eine verlängerte Version präsentiert.
Besonders auffällig ist das Design dieses Schulterdeckers: Vier Triebwerke, ein T-Leitwerk und eine geringe Lärmentwicklung machen die BAE 146 zu einem einzigartigen Kurzstreckenflugzeug. Es wurde in mehreren Varianten gebaut, unter anderem als Fracht- und Löschflugzeug. Obwohl die Produktion 2001 endete, ist die BAE 146 weltweit weiterhin im Einsatz.

This mounts well and feels very sturdy and overall works quite well. The only complaint I have is that the shelf doesn't stay vertical when it's stowed. It needs some way to keep it from falling down and hitting my head.

Chipped rack and top rack does not stay up

Heavy duty and easy to put together, with the exception of the two screws for the top rack; the top rack does not stay in the up position on its own like I thought it would. I can’t open my cabinet door. I had to screw a hook in the wall to hold it up. It arrived with chips on the metal.
