„Kommt zur Interplanetaren Allianz“, haben sie gesagt. „Macht etwas Sinnvolles und unterstützt die IPA dabei, den Galaktischen Frieden zu wahren“, haben sie gesagt. „Große Abenteuer erwarten euch“, haben sie gesagt … Aber hätte uns vorher jemand gesagt, dass wir Dienst auf der Unity schieben müssen und mit diesem Schrotthaufen die Galaxis retten sollen, hätten wir uns vielleicht anders entschieden … Mit Spaceship Unity wird die Wohnung zum Raumschiff, denn anders als bei anderen (Brett-)Spielen sitzen die Spielenden nicht einfach mit am Tisch und schieben Pöppel hin und her. Stattdessen ist hier ist voller Körpereinsatz gefragt! Als Rekrut*innen der IPA, also der Interplanetaren Allianz, erleben die Spielenden eine außergewöhnliche Geschichte voller Action und Abenteuer und müssen ihr eigenes Raumschiff steuern. Dabei wird zum Beispiel die Dunstabzugshaube zum Düsenantrieb, der Rollladen zum Schutzschild oder das Bücherregal zur Diplomatischen Datenbank und noch vieles mehr! Bei Spaceship Unity – Season 1.1 steht die Geschichte im Vordergrund. Wie bei einer Fernsehserie verläuft die Geschichte über mehrere Folgen (hier fünf). Diese sind jeweils in einige Kapitel unterteilt, von denen die Spielenden nie alle zu sehen bekommen. Es gibt kein eindeutiges Gewinnen oder Verlieren. Wie im echten Leben geht die Geschichte immer weiter, egal wie die Crew abschneidet. Das heißt aber nicht, dass die Aufgaben auf die leichte Schulter zu nehmen sind, schließlich sind die Spielenden die letzte Hoffnung für den Galaktischen Frieden und der Lauf der Geschichte ändert sich je nach Erfolg oder Misserfolg der Spielrunde, ob zum Guten oder zum Schlechten. Spaceship Unity wird 2023 mit Season 1.2 fortgesetzt.

Washable quality paper plates

We've used these paper plates for years for all kinds of things and find them to be really sturdy and washable. With a pleasant design that fits any decor, they are wonderful for everyday use. I really like the fact that the top surface can be lightly washed and the plates reused. They come in a package of 150 and are really good value for the money.

An elegant workhorse!

I hate washing dishes so I use these Dixie plates a lot and they are STURDY. They will carry a whole meal without wilting. The rim is deep enough that, should you be so inclined, you could eat ice cream out of them without any dripping or drooping worries. So something like spaghetti or lasagna would be easily handled. I now buy them 150 at a time because they're so handy and that way more economical. I use them instead of a cutting board sometimes. And they just feel the right weight, not too heavy, not too light. For a picnic or a walking-around party they would be the best for preventing spills. But what I enjoy is their versatility. You can even rinse them off and use them again if they've had light use. And the current pattern is cheerful too!!
