Geschichte: Michael Andersen liefert seit 1890 erhabenes dänisches Design und Keramik an engagierte Sammler auf der ganzen Welt von New York bis Tokio. Michael Andersen (1859-1931) wurde als Keramiker bei Lauritz Hjorth in Rønne auf Bornholm ausgebildet. Michael Andersen übernahm 1890 Th. Stibolts Keramikunternehmen in Rønne und führte es unter seinem eigenen Namen weiter. Das Keramikunternehmen lässt sich bis ins Jahr 1771 zurückdatieren. 1935 gewinnt Michael Andersen für seine Glasur eine prestigeträchtige Goldmedaille auf der Weltausstellung in Brüssel (Exposition Universelle et Internationale de Bruxelles) und wird seitdem zu Recht als Meister bezeichnet aus Glasur. Ab 1930 wurde das Stadtwappen von Rønne mit den drei Fischen als Logo verwendet.
