Im 18. Jhd. zählte Clerc Milon zum Besitz von Château Lafite. Im Jahr 1970 wir das Schloss von Baron Philippe de Rothschild erworben. Die 41 ha Reben gedeihen mit Blick auf die Gironde-Mündung im Nordosten von Pauillac auf natürlich geformten Terrassen aus verwehtem Sand und Kies, wobei zahlreiche Kieselsteine den Lehm-Kalkboden bedecken. Aromen von schwarzen Beerenfrüchten, Lakritz, Zigarrendeckblatt und Zedernholz. Am seidig weichen Gaumen dicht und elegant mit Noten von Heidel- sowie Johannisbeeren. Langer mineralischer Abgang verfeinert mit lebendiger Säure, ein Hauch von Veilchen. Schön rund mit feiner Tanninstruktur.

I looked at several cabinets for this purpose, some more expensive, some less, and I am happy with the money spent for this cabinet.
