In Damage Control, each player leads a rival cleanup crew tasked with finding and securing the dangerous artifacts and technologies lying in the rubble. Each rubble card represents a powerful item. Notable relics include Doc Ock's severed tentacles, damaged Ultron Drones, crystals and more!
You use your deck of Damage Control operatives to demolish, reveal, and collect the rubble cards in search of valuable items, which you then add to your deck. You can use the items' powerful properties to make your deck stronger and more effective or send them to your vault for safe keeping and earn victory points. But be careful! Only the items in your vault will ultimately earn you points, so don't keep them for too long!
As a member of the organization responsible for processing the destruction zone, you will also have to deal with various claimants - people who show up after the battle to complain about the traffic or to clean up after themselves. Some citizens are just hoping to catch a glimpse of one of the heroes or villains involved!
Heroes such as Captain America, Shang-Chi, Black Widow and more appear in the form of the Character Deck. These heroes give effects and victory points to the Damage Control teams that manage to call on their help. The game also contains four modules: Mighty Asgard, Mystical Manipulation, Pym Tech and Vibranium Synthesis. For each game you choose two modules that you can combine with the standard Rubble and Character decks, allowing you to create different stories, strategies and game options!
