Made in Provence Handmade candles

This manufacture is certified EPV (Living Heritage Company), works for the maintenance of craftsmanship of excellence.

These elegant and decorative candles are handcrafted by one of the last candle makers in France. They are obtained through an ancestral manufacturing process. This method called "plunge" allows to shape conical candles, thinner at the top. The cotton wicks are arranged in U shape on wooden sticks, fixed on frames and then dipped in wax by the wax craftsmen.

The color pigments are sprinkled in the melted wax. The colors obtained are lively and sometimes surprising to create these candles in various colors. These handmade candles burn slowly and do not emit smoke.

Once lit, the candle provides a soft and pleasant glow.

Which support for thin candles?

Decorate your home with our range of candle holders and adapters specially dedicated for these candles. Designed by Carine PECHAVY, each candle holder, in brass or wood made in France, will highlight the candles.

Tip: The burning time of candles is between 2h30 and 3h. In order to avoid drips and enjoy your candle longer, you can keep it into the fridge 30 minutes before combustion.

- Height 30 cm, between 0.8 and 1 cm in diameter at the base. 

- Made in Provence by a company with the EPV label (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant)

Instructions:

Decorate your home with these fine, colourful candles to add a touch of light and freshness.

If the base of the candle is too wide, just make a small incision at the base (to remove the first layer of wax) to position it correctly in the candleholder. If the base of the candle is too thin, you can use a piece of paper to wedge it in place.

To optimise the use of your candles, place them in the fridge 30 minutes before burning.
