Long ago, a beautiful streak of crimson fell from the sky and carved the valley from the earth. Disconnected from the rest of the world, life flourished in the valley.

From distant lands, members of many cultures came together, drawn by the mystery and allure of the red star and the opulent empire it created. They settled there. The soil was fertile, perfect for crops; the rock was rich with minerals that begged to be mined, and the land itself seemed eager to be formed.

On warm summer evenings, the velvet sky was crossed by the scarlet light of meteor showers. The colonists found that under these lights their craft projects were completed faster and produced better results! Soon people began to work together, sharing their wares and knowledge with each other.

Together under a meteor shower at night, they founded a joint settlement - one of knowledge and craftsmanship. The settlement was called Splendence, after the valley that brought them all together.

In the centuries that followed, a red substance that people called "material" could be found after every meteor shower. Craftsmen learned to work with the substance, which imparted magical properties to their works. These works, called Artifice, were established and would plunge the settlement into an industrial revolution.

"The Artisans of Splendent Vale" is a cooperative adventure game set in a magical and unique land. As a group of artisans you will explore the beauty of the Splendent Vale as you perfect your individual crafts. Overcome challenges during tactical action sequences set on special grid maps, and experience individual intervals to build your story separate from the group's story. Teamwork and careful strategy will be crucial during these encounters.
