Coverstichfuß
Für optimale Sicht auf Ihr Nähprojekt während des Nähvorgangs.
- Stellen Sie Ihre Maschine auf einen Coverstich oder einen Kettenstich ein.
- Markieren Sie mit wasserlöslichem Stoffmarker eine Stichlinie auf dem Stoff.
- Setzen Sie den transparenten Coverstichfuß ein.
- Verwenden Sie die Standard-Sticheinstellungen. Passen Sie diese bei Bedarf an.
- Legen Sie den Stoff unter den Nähfuß und die Nadeln. Beginnen Sie, über den Stoff zu nähen, ohne erst abzuketteln.
- Orientieren Sie sich beim Nähen an der markierten Stichlinie und an der roten Markierung am Nähfuß. Dank dem transparenten Coverstichfuß können Sie sowohl die markierte Linie als auch den Stoff gut sehen .
Spitzen- und Bortenfuß
Gestalten Sie schöne dekorative Kanteneffekte
- Stellen Sie Ihre Maschine auf einen breiten Coverstich ein.
- Setzen Sie den Spitzen- und Bortenfuß ein.
- Verwenden Sie die Standard-Sticheinstellungen. Passen Sie diese bei Bedarf an.
- Führen Sie die Stoffkante in den unteren Teil der linken Nähfußseite ein. Schieben Sie den Stoff unter den Nähfuß und unter die Nadeln.
- Führen Sie die Borte bzw. Spitze in den oberen Teil der rechten Nähfußseite ein. Schieben Sie die Borte bzw. Spitze am Fuß nach hinten, sodass hinter den Nadeln ein kleines Stück davon herausragt.
Tipp: Verwenden Sie eine Pinzette, um Stoff und Borte bzw. Spitze in die korrekte
Position unter den Nadeln zu bringen.
- Senken Sie die Nadeln in Borte bzw. Spitze und Stoff ab. Senken Sie den Spitzen- und Bortenfuß ab.
- Halten Sie den Stoff beim Nähen in der linken und die Borte bzw. Spitze in der rechten Hand.
Tipp: Wünschen Sie eine saubere Stoffkante, dann bügeln Sie 6 mm des Stoffes nach rechts um, bevor Sie den Stoff in den Spitzen- und Bortenfuß einführen. Die Borte bzw. Spitze wird dann beim Annähen die Schnittkante verdecken.
Kantensäumerfuß
Zum Säumen von Stoffkanten bei gleichzeitigem Annähen von Spitze.
- Stellen Sie Ihre Maschine auf einen breiten Coverstich ein.
- Verwenden Sie die Standard-Sticheinstellungen. Passen Sie diese bei Bedarf an.
- Setzen Sie den Kantensäumerfuß ein.
- Schieben Sie die Stoffkante mit der rechten Seite nach oben in die Stoffführung.
- Schieben Sie den Stoff bis nach hinten unter den Nähfuß und die Nadeln.
- Führen Sie die Spitze so in die rechte Spitzenführung, dass ein Stück von etwa 2,5 cm hinter dem Fuß herausragt. Verwenden Sie bei Bedarf eine Pinzette.
7. Senken Sie den Nähfuß ab. Halten Sie den Stoff in der linken und die Spitze in der rechten Hand, während Sie zu nähen beginnen.
Hinweis: Justieren Sie bei Bedarf die Schraube an der Führung, um die Stichposition anzupassen.
Träger- und Gürtelschlaufenfuß
Speziell zum Nähen von Trägern und Gürtelschlaufen unter Verwendung des
Coverstichs.
- Stellen Sie Ihre Overlock auf einen breiten Coverstich ein.
- Verwenden Sie die Standard-Sticheinstellungen. Passen Sie diese bei Bedarf an.
- Schneiden Sie einen 25 mm breiten Streifen zu.
- Schneiden Sie die obere Ecke des Streifens in einem Winkel von 45 Grad an, um eine Spitze zu erhalten.
- Führen Sie das schräg abgeschnittene Ende mit der rechten Stoffseite nach oben in die Führung ein. Ziehen Sie den Streifen durch den Schlitz und unter den Nähfuß. Das Ende des Streifens muss hinter dem Nähfuß hinausragen (Abb. 1). Verwenden Sie zum Einführen des Streifens bei Bedarf eine Pinzette.
- Setzen Sie den Gürtelschlaufen-Fuß ein.
- Schieben Sie den Streifen unter den Nähfuß und circa 5 cm darüber hinaus.
- Senken Sie den Nähfuß ab. Achten Sie darauf, dass beide Schnittkanten des Streifens vor dem Nähen umgeschlagen werden. Nähen Sie die ersten Stiche. Halten Sie an, schneiden Sie die Fäden nahe am Nähfuß ab und nähen Sie weiter.
- Halten Sie den Stoffstreifen für einen gleichmäßigen Transport ein Stück unter der ersten Führung vorn am Nähfuß (Abb. 2).
- Nähen Sie mit moderater Geschwindigkeit. Achten Sie beim Weiternähen darauf, dass der Stoff korrekt transportiert wird.
Hinweis: Wenn Sie den gefalteten Stoffstreifen nicht mit Stoff unterlegen, erhalten Sie Träger oder Gürtelschlaufen. Sie können den gefalteten Streifen auch für dekorative Effekte auf einen anderen Stoff aufnähen.
Paspelfuß
Ganz einfach Paspeln, Biesen und Zierbänder gestalten.
- Stellen Sie den Kettenstich ein.
- Verwenden Sie die Standard- Sticheinstellungen. Passen Sie diese bei Bedarf an.
Hinweis: Die Maschine empfiehlt zwar die Nadel D, für diese Technik sollten Sie
jedoch Nadel E verwenden.
- Setzen Sie den Paspelfuß ein (bei dieser Technik wird die Führung nicht verwendet).
- Legen Sie die Kordel in die Rille unter dem Nähfuß, sodass ein Stück von etwa 5 cm hinter dem Nähfuß herausragt.
Hinweis: Sie können Kordeln mit einer Stärke von 1,5 bis 2,0 mm verwenden. - Schneiden Sie einen 25 mm breiten Schrägbandstreifen zu.
- Legen Sie den Stoff vor dem Nähfuß um die Kordel herum. Schieben Sie den Stoff unter den Nähfuß.
- Senken Sie den Nähfuß ab und nähen Sie über Kordel und Stoff (Abb. 1). (Halten Sie die Kordel beim Nähen zunächst hinter dem Nähfuß fest.)

Robust pipe & fittings with a beautiful, smooth black finish
Size: side table leg
This set of pipe & fittings for use as low table legs is heavy duty and aesthetically pleasing. Especially when the pieces are handled, the tactile sensation is much nicer than with plumbing steel pipe because this product is beautifully finished smooth. The black pipes are quite smooth as well as the fittings.
The pieces are all also pretty robust, though the wall thicknesses are less than in pipe for pressurized water systems. Of course that makes sense as this product does not need to hold fluid pressure.
In my view they got the heaviness factor of this product just right; it's not as heavy or robust as black pipe used in natural gas supplies, but still robust and pretty heavy. Assembled, this product is absolutely stiff and unyielding for a solid table that could hold a man's weight easily.
The feet utilize a brilliant scheme so that each foot can be independently adjusted for an uneven floor. Thus a level table on an uneven floor is easily accomplished. The feet simply extend the effective leg length by screwing counter-clockwise. To prevent any shifting at the threads adding some pipe compound or teflon tape may be advised. Even masking or duct tape might work as the idea is to just fill any gaps where male threads meet female threads.
The four flanges at the tops of the legs provide a wide, solid surface for attaching the table top, with either hidden screws underneath or you could through-bolt a glass table top (provided you have the skill to drill glass!). I think this product would look great with a glass top.
Assembly is quick and easy. The hardest part is drilling holes underneath the table top to accept screws. No pipe wrenches are needed as the pieces screw together by hand to an adequate tightness. If any doubt whether they are tightened enough have a strong person with grippy gloves finish. The "X" in the center attaches to the legs with a very clever machine screw system tightened with the included hex wrench. This is presumably because if tightened simply by screwing the fittings, the point of snugness would not likely be where the "T" fittings are exactly vertical. The maker has solved this problem so that you are assured that all legs will be in the perfect vertical position once everything is tight. The setup is also nice and rigid once tightened. This is a huge benefit of steel pipe projects; they are really solid.
The black finish is clearly very durable, like a powder coat. It appears that it will provide excellent protection against rust. Coverage is complete; I found no dings or scratches anywhere on any piece.
Overall this is a very well-designed product for function and aesthetics. Perfect for a beautifully renovated warehouse condo where an industrial vibe is desired in a rock-solid table that won't shift around. The smoothness of the pipe is top notch. I've used lots of pipe in projects, some of it actual water pipe and some decorative pipe such as this. I've never seen better quality decorative pipe as this maker put in the effort to finish it beautifully smooth. At currently $34.99 I find the price quite reasonable too.

Good DIY Pipe Legs but Powder Coat Quality Lacks

These industrial style pipe legs make building a DIY end table easy and the kit saves a trip to the hardware store. The fittings go together normally and assembly is simple. Comes individually wrapped. My main issue is the powder coating looks and feels cheap and rubs off easily. The pipes already had marks from touching each other from unboxing. If you do not mind some wear on the finish over time this is a decent purchase. The metal at the hardware store will be thicker and more durable but will cost more. I’d recommend based on ease of having a kit and it being delivered saving me a trip.
