Der seit über einem Jahrzehnt in New York und Köln lebende Schweizer Konzeptkünstler Christian Philipp Müller (*1957) ist spätestens mit seinen Beiträgen für den Österreichischen Pavillon der Biennale in Venedig 1993 und die documenta X im Jahr 1997 international bekannt geworden. Seine künstlerische Methode stützt sich auf die Recherche und Analyse gesellschaftlicher, sozialer oder kulturhistorischer Situationen. Da seine Werkkomplexe und Projekte stets an der Schnittstelle von sozialem und ästhetischem Raum angesiedelt sind, sind Müllers Arbeiten zentral für die Rezeption der institutionskritischen Kunst der 1990er-Jahre.Zur ersten Retrospektive des Künstlers erscheint diese Publikation mit Textbeiträgen von Philipp Kaiser, Sabeth Buchmann und Miwon Kwon, einem Gespräch mit dem Künstler von James Meyer und einem umfassenden Werkverzeichnis mit prägnanten Projektbeschreibungen, erstellt von Kerstin Stakemeier.

Nicely made. The wood has a lovely finish and rich color. The compartments have a softer bottom so you don’t have to worry about scratching your glasses or other surfaces. Great assortment of compartment sizes to help organize your items.
