Dieser Chukkaboot „Begründer“ umfasst eine Herstellung, welche zu 100% Made in Germany stattfindet. Der Schuh zeichnet sich durch eine integrierte Fußbettung aus, welche den Druck beim Gehen gleichmäßig verteilt und so einen optimalen Halt bietet, aus. Lange Hinterkappen sorgen für einen geraden und stabilen Stand. Zusätzlich ist der Schuh zweifach vernäht. Hier werden zunächst der Rahmen, Schaft und die Brandsohle miteinander vernäht (Rahmendurchgenähte Machart), bevor anschließend der Rahmen mit der Zwischensohle zusammengeführt wird. Dieser Schritt sorgt zusätzlich für eine lang anhaltende Qualität des Schuhs.

Als Oberleder und Innenfutter werden ausschließlich Leder aus zertifizierten deutschen Gerbereien verwendet. Als Laufssohle setzen wir hierbei auf den renommierten Hersteller Vibram.  Besonders wichtig ist uns, dass der Schuh  repariert werden kann, um die Langlebigkeit bei entsprechender Pflege zu erhöhen. Ein austauschen der Laufsohle, kann jederzeit in unserer hauseigenen Werkstatt vorgenommen werden.

This little tree is made of very lightweight plastic which snapped together easily, but a big part of me hopes to someday find one a bit larger, made of ceramic. As my daughter said "it's by far the most creative one I've ever seen"
