Die PSS Wellendichtung Typ A ist eine mechanische Gleitringdichtung. Die Dichtfläche entsteht zwischen den ebenen Flächen des rotierenden Edelstahlrotors und dem stationären Kohleflansch.Der stationäre Kohleflansch wird mit Schlauchklemmen an der Vorderseite des Balges und das hintere Ende des Balges über das Sternrohr befestigt und wird mit Schlauchklemmen gesichert. Der Edelstahlrotor ist auf der Welle vor dem Kohleflansch montiert. Der Edelstahlrotor wird verwendet, um den Balg zu komprimieren, bevor der Rotor mit Stellschrauben an der Welle befestigt wird. Diese Kompression (Vorspannung) sorgt für einen konstanten Kontakt zwischen den beiden flachen Seiten des Edelstahlrotors und des Kohleflansches. Dadurch kann die PSS Wellenabdichtung die variable Vorwärts- und Rückwärtsbewegung - bedingt durch den Propellerschub - ausgleichen. Der Kohlenstoffflansch ist zum Wellendurchmesser überbohrt, so dass er um die Welle herum 'schwimmen' kann und somit die meisten Fehlausrichtungs- und Schwingungsprobleme ausgleicht. Der Rotor aus rostfreiem Stahl ist durch zwei O-Ringe, die in die Bohrung des Kragens eingelassen sind, gegen die Welle abgedichtet. Diese O-Ringe rotieren mit der Welle und dem Edelstahlrotor und unterliegen keinem Verschleiß während des Betriebs.

I really wanted to like this pillow but I didn't, My son did.

I bought two of these Medium pillows for summer camp that my son and I went to this year. Let me start by saying the only reason I don't like it is because its too soft and small for me. By soft I mean the pillow bottoms out when I put my head on it. I measured and it is 4" thick but when I put my head on it, it almost disappears. They could add 20-25% more stuffing and it would be great. My son liked his, I didn't even bring mine. What I did do is stuff a standard size memory foam pillow in the stuff sack and used that! The quality of this pillow is great, the seams were not torn or coming undone like some people said, no rips or stains. the zippier works just fine and IT IS MEMORY FOAM, people who complain that it's not are expecting a brick of foam which this isn't, it is shredded/torn memory foam filling that is exactly like my $60 memory foam pillows that I use on my bed. TLDR its great for kids, not for people with bowling balls for heads like me. WISE OWL, ADD MORE FILLING ! I was able to stuff a pillow 3x the size of this one in the same bag.

Wise owls pillow

I purchased the toddler size as a back support pillow. Quality! Firmness!

I LOVE this pillow! OK, I admit that I just got it and opened it, but I already know I'm going to love it.
I purchased the toddler-sized pillow to use behind my back in the car or on an airplane - or maybe just a snuggle pillow in the bed - a tiny version of a body pillow. I got exactly what I wanted! This pillow is exquisitely crafted, and I can feel the cooling quality already. I purchased a brand new silk zippered pillow case for it. I inserted the pillow in the case right away because I know it's going to expand over the next 72 hours - to the perfect firmness, I hope. I'm afraid if I wait until tomorrow it might not be able to fit into the pillowcase!
Some people here have reported a distaste for the firmness of this pillow, but I'm looking forward to it. So, I recommend if you want to really firm pillow, you had better put it right in the pillowcase when you get it, because you might not be able to stuff it in if you wait 72 hours!
By the way, this pillowcase has absolutely zero smell, so don't bother your sleepy head about that.

Great pillow for side sleepers!

I bought these pillows at first because I wanted to try out the “coolness” of them (I live in a place with no AC). They’re definitely not cold, but they do a good job of regulating the heat on particularly hot/stuffy nights.
But my favorite thing about these by far is the support! I’m a side sleeper, and these are just the right amount of firm to tuck between your shoulder and neck that keeps your neck in a good position all night, while still soft and comfy for your head! I’ve been sleeping on them for about 2 months now and they have maintained their shape really well. Definitely recommend!
