* „Der Berliner Karikaturist und Pressezeichner Heinz Schmidt-Berg (1911–1993) studierte bei Max Kaus, Nikolaus Sagrekow und Hans Orlowski, dem er offensichtlich lebenslang eng verbunden blieb. - 1930 war Schmidt-Bergs erste Zeichnung im "Ulk" erschienen, von da an veröffentlichte er regelmäßig in der "Koralle", "Ente" und "Roten Post". Nach dem Krieg lieferte er Beiträge für den "Kurier", "Telegraf", die "BZ" u.a.“
