Anmerkungen: C. maxima 'rosea' ist ein sehr farbintensiver Klon dieser Art. C. maxima ist bekannt dafür, das die Knospenentwicklung bei kühleren Temperaturen deutlich intensivere Bütenfarben hervorbringt. C. maxima 'rosea'
ist von Natur aus kräftiger gefärbt, bringt aber die volle Farbentwicklung auch nur bei der richtigen Kultur (T/N Unterschied). Ob Cattleya maxima 'rosea' entspricht vom Farbton her der 1891 veröffentlichten C. maxima var. marchettiana.
