These robust, reinforced aluminum models in heavy-duty design have increased tube wall thickness for greater rigidity and durability.
Sizes 140 and 160—with a 27 mm grip diameter and modern standard rear widths—are designed for advanced freeride, bump & jump, and wave sailors. Sizes 180 and 200 use wide ends to accommodate deeper sail profiles, 29 mm grip diameter, and extra-oversized end pieces for maximum stiffness and durability.
The curves of the Booms are precisely engineered to provide maximum deflection resistance and come close to the ultimate carbon booms. All HD Boomss feature anodized end pieces that offer better corrosion protection.
