Jeder, der bei schlechtem Wetter und stürmischer See schon einmal nach vorn an Deck musste, kennt das Problem: Gesichert mit einer Lifeleine muss man sich ständig wieder neu umhängen.
Die Lösung hierfür ist die Gurtband-Sicherheitsleine: Ein 12 Meter langes Gurtband, welches flach an Deck aufgelegt und an den Enden mittels der beigelieferten Beschläge angelascht wird.
In dieses Gurtband piekt man sich mit der Lifeleine ein und kann sich so ungehindert bewegen.
Besonderheit dieser Variante: Die Gesamtlänge von 15 Metern teilt sich auf in 5 Meter normale Länge und zusätzlicher Abzweigung von 10 Metern, um Backbord und Steuerbord im Bug zu sichern.
