Die „IHJ-123-OD Work Jacket“ von Iron Heart wird aus einem 14oz Broken Twill Selvedge Denim gefertigt, der zunächst klassisch in Indigo rope-dyed ist und anschließend schwarz überfärbt wird. Diese Kombination sorgt für eine ungewöhnlich tiefe, fast ölartige Farbwirkung – im Neuzustand nahezu schwarz, mit zunehmendem Tragen treten die indigoblauen Untertöne wieder hervor und entwickeln eine lebendige, vielschichtige Patina.

Die zugrunde liegende Broken-Twill-Konstruktion geht auf eine Entwicklung von Wrangler aus dem Jahr 1964 zurück. Durch den regelmäßigen Wechsel von Rechts- und Linksköper entsteht eine zickzackartige Webstruktur, die die beim Denim typische Verdrehung des Stoffes ausgleicht. Das Ergebnis ist ein dichtes, stabiles Gewebe mit ruhigem Fall und einer vergleichsweise glatten Oberfläche, die die Tiefe der Überfärbung besonders gut zur Geltung bringt.

Another perk is US made, not coming from questionable manufacturers. And the price is awesome, comparable stuff is $30+ People complaining about lid :: make sure to get with a big order so your package comes in a box. I ordered once in envelope and the box was squished but the lid thankfully made it. Also yes, if in a warm environment it will be more oily/greasy. Read the ingredients, this is normal. Animal fat, beeswax, olive oil and honey all become more pliable/liquify in warmer temps.
