Das Flare 11.8 ist die leichtere und etwas einfachere Version des Flare Pro. Das Board ist für viele Einsatzbereiche geeignet und wird fast jedem Allround-Anspruch gerecht. Der Shape mit der breiten Standfläche und der schlanken Nose geben dem Board Standstabilität auch bei geringen Geschwindigkeiten, was das Spielen auf dem Wasser erleichtert. Die Form eines langen Tropfens lässt das Board aber auch gut gleiten. Da die Standfläche viel Volumen hat, trägt das Board auch etwas mehr Belastung. Die grosse EVA Standfläche ist mit einem trittsicheren Prägemuster ausgestattet. Das Board kann bei Niedrigwasser mit einer Flexfin gefahren werden, ohne die Gefahr das Finnen abbrechen. Somit ist man auch auf Flüssen gut unterwegs.
Die Woven Dropstitch Konstruktion ist äusserst leicht und damit auch leicht zu tragen. Die Double Sidewall ist robust, schützt das Board vor Abrieb und macht das Board zusätzlich noch etwas steifer. Das mitgelieferte Zubehör lässt sich komplett im Backpack verstauen und somit auch gut transportieren. Dank der sehr leichten Konstruktion ist die Flare Line gut für SUP Trips mit ÖV Nutzung geeignet.

Worst Experience of my Life
My Epson printer had problems with it's software in early mid April, while trying to resolve the software glitch which I could not, I found that every picture I had scanned for some time had lines running through it and no cleaning process or other process that Epson had would get rid of it, and everything I had scanned for my project, was ruined. I sent the machine to Asurion following their instructions and explaining the issues. They sent it back to me after a month saying they had double checked and fixed everything, I spent some time setting it all back up, only to find that exactly the same two issues were still present and the machine was unusable. I sent in a second request, this time they sent it back to me a month later saying they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Hooked it up again, same problem. I complained numerous times asked for them to warranty the item; they would not unless I sent it back to them and they kept it and then they would give me a credit on my amazon account to buy a new one. I packed it up and drove to UPS a third time and mailed it back to them, after about three weeks they sent me a note that they had it and that they were sending it back to me as they couldn't find anything wrong. Three times I ha filled out their entire sheet with product, date of purchase, problems detailed, receipts, picture of the lines in the photos that it was making over all the scanned photos. Then after two weeks of back and forth they sent me a message telling me they couldn't warranty it until I filled all this information out again on line. Then they told me they couldn't read the tiny print off the receipt printed off the Amazon site, which I cannot change. I then blew up the receipts and circled everything and sent it back to them again...of course they already had now five copies of this same information, they had paid for postage three times to NY and back to fix it and they still aren't able to process a payment to me????? Finally I get a call from a gentleman telling me that I will have a credit to my Amazon Card in 72 hours. Great. Then he calls me back the next day and says the warranty team has decided they would not warranty the item and credit me but they will mail me a check in 7 to 10 days. After over four months of this I received a check...will it bounce? I don't know yet. My project that I was working on was for my mother's Celebration of Life, I could not do what I wanted to do for her, this caused me emotional pain, as well as the obvious frustration of four months of aggravation and complete and total ineptitude on their part.

Asurion Protection is worth it
After 3 years monitor had power issues. Asurion was unable to repair the monitor and provided a full refund with an Amazon Gift Card. Support was excellent and process was quick and easy.

Quick and Fantastic Service!
I include the additional protection for all of my high dollar purchases. This was the first time I have ever had to use it. I had an extension to provide additional screens to my laptop. Unfortunately, it developed an issue. Submitting a claim was easy and straightforward. UPS came the next day to pick it up and I was notified in just a couple of days that it was received. Only a couple of days after that, I received an email stating that my laptop screens were not repairable and I was given an Amazon card for the entire purchase price. I could not have been more pleased, as the purchase price was $599 and was a huge splurge for me in the first place. I was able to quickly replace the screens and back in business in no time. I would recommend this protection plan for any high dollar purchase.
