Er wurde nach der uralten Methode des Qvevri hergestellt, bei der die Kisi-Trauben in Tongefäßen unter der Erde vergraben wurden und 6 Monate lang mit ihren Schalen in Kontakt blieben, was ihnen eine unglaubliche orange Farbe verlieh. Nikalas Marani ist ein kleines Weingut am rechten Ufer des Alazani-Flusses, im Herzen der alten Weinbauregion Kachetien. Ursprünglich wurde das Gebäude 1928 vom Namensgeber des Weinguts, Nikala Mgvdliashvili, erbaut. 2005 wurde es von Nikalas Enkel Zurab restauriert und zu neuem Leben erweckt. Er ist Direktor der Natural Wine Association, einem Zusammenschluss von Traubenproduzenten und Winzern, die vollständig biologische Methoden anwenden. Dieser Kisi ist ein vollmundiger, vielschichtiger Orangenwein mit komplexen Fruchtnoten von Kaki, Birne und kleinen Waldbeeren. Er zeigt auch eine kräftige pikante Seite, mit unterschwelligen Noten von Erde, Sesam, gebuttertem Toast und Salz. Der Einfluss des Qvevri-Tons scheint im Abgang durch. Wie die meisten Orangenweine sollte auch dieser Wein vor dem Servieren nicht gekühlt werden. Quality and durable socks

Great quality socks. This pack was a lot taller on the cuff and bigger than previous batches I have had. Not sure what the change was, but giving it 4 instead of 5 because I preferred the smaller shorter ones they previously made. But these are great quality socks, and last a long time.
