Neben dem Flaggschiff Staglin Family Vineyard produziert die Familie auch einen Cabernet Sauvignon und einen Chardonnay unter dem Label Salus, benannt nach der römischen Göttin der Gesundheit und des Wohlbefindens. Michel Rolland ist seit 2000 der beratende Önologe des Weinguts. Ein unterirdischer Weinkeller, der 2002 eingeweiht wurde, ist für die Reifung dieser international anerkannten kalifornischen Spitzenweine bestimmt. Der Salus Estate Cabernet Sauvignon von Staglin Family Vineyard ist das Ergebnis einer Mischung aus Cabernet Sauvignon (76%), Merlot (18%), Cabernet Franc (3%) und Petit Verdot (3%) und reift 20 Monate in französischen Eichenfässern, von denen 92% neu sind. Der Wein hat eine tiefe Farbe mit intensiven Aromen von dunklen Früchten in der Nase, am Gaumen verführt er mit seiner Weichheit und sehr feinen Tanninen, die sich mit subtilen mineralischen Noten verbinden. Er hat eine zarte Textur und einen anhaltenden und eleganten Abgang. Er ist ein perfekter Partner für Rindfleisch und Wildgerichte.
