MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. Get one but use it on a medium firm mattress, not a firm one.

You need a mattress that is medium firmness to use this wonderful pillow. It gives perfect neck support and I can sleep on all 4 sides with it. My neck/head pain quit first night used it. On a firm mattress it feels too hard and awkwardly cradle l es my head.

Got the 2pk, while these are probably not worth $65/pillow, they are definitely comfortable and I had no issues sleeping on it. Much better than the memory foam pillows from Walmart.
Could be a bit bigger and denser on the foam, but otherwise its perfect.
Pair with nylon cover for better cooling.
