Collagen peptides, also known as hydrolyzed collagen or collagen hydrolyzate, are a highly digestible protein produced from the skin of wild cold-sea fish (salmonidae). It is created through a delicate and gradual process of enzymatic processing of collagen-rich ingredients. This processing leads to the breakdown of collagen proteins into smaller peptide molecules to make them better absorbed by the human body.
