Featuring the signature CenterLine™ design from 5.11®, the LV18 2.0 Backpack is better than ever.

All of the Duraflex® buckles have been updated for easier use with gloves. Inside the ambidextrous side entry CCW compartment, the loop area has been increased and a removable holster retention strap has been added so you can customize your loadout. The height of the padded laptop sleeve has been extended and an added security strap keeps your computer safe and secure. The webbing loops give you improved attachment for the 5.11 LV6 bag for extra cargo storage. Included in the design are side compression straps for external storage and expandable pockets to fit your water bottle. A comfortable padded back panel with a Flex cuff channel makes this pack easy to wear and the front pocket and secondary compartment offer plenty of storage room. The quick-release shoulder straps come with a removable sternum strap so you can get to your gear quick when the seconds count. A tri-glide waist belt attachment has been added for optional support for long treks. All of this is topped off with tuckable logos to help you keep a low profile.

This will work but prep is key!
I have an older RV that the gelcoat has dulled and is oxidized, but otherwise in good shape. I have buffed and polished in the past only for it to last a short time. I was looking up different products to try and this one has such good reviews, I thought I would give it a try. I bought the kit with the Poliglow and the Poliprep, with the scrubber and the microfiber glove. I started with the poliprep and it did a great job of gettting the streaks and black marks off. You spend a lot of time scrubbing to your likeness because anything that is still on the gelcoat when you apply the poliglow, it will be locked in there. The Poliglow is like a clearcoat that goes over the gelcoat. You have to build up layers and here are some of the tips and tricks I figured out that really helped my finished RV look great. First, make sure the applicator stays damp, this keeps the poliglow more uniform across the glove. Also, stick it in a zip lock bag when not using, you do not want it to dry out while you are using it. I found out that applying this in direct sunlight in warm temps, is the best method. This allows the poliglow to dry really fast. The first 3 or 4 layers will look streaky and dull but this is ok and as you build up the layers, the shine will come back. I found if you do this when its cooler, the layers do not dry as quick and you will get some permanent streaking or running. I had to remove a section I did in the evening because I noticed this. When in direct sunlight, this gave me the best results with no streaking or running. It dries fast and you can keep working. Like it says, do not do big sections at a time, keep it to small what you can reach sections and build those up and move on. As far as how much to buy? I have a 40 ft toy hauler and I got to kits and I had just enough to finish the whole thing minus the nose cap. I have Durabak on the nose cap, so I dont need to worry about that. I ended up buying one more bottle of the poliglow to have for my maintenance coats. Overall, I am pleased with how my 10 year old RV looks and other than some of the decals show age, it looks new again. If I were to buy a new RV, I would put this on right away and preserve the whole RV including the decals. Its not too expensive and its a lot of work, especially the prep, but it does end up with great results.
