The Signature collection was inspired by a woodworker who taught his stepson and 3 stepdaughters the value and beauty of handcrafted, wood products. From this knowledge, Kathleen had a vision to bring her woodworking and knot-tying skills together to create beautiful wooden crosses for her door rosaries.
Each wooden cross is manufactured and cut in the USA by a local small business. Once in the Knots of Grace studio, we hand-sand, hand-stain, and individually secure each cross with its specific design components to create a beautiful finished product.
All Signature Door Rosaries are beautiful, sturdy, and unique. Though the crosses and knots may look similar, because they are hand-crafted, no two are 100% identical.
This specific Door Rosary includes a Gothic-styled cross with a dark walnut stain, bringing out the natural beauty of the stacked wooden crosses. Secured at the center of the cross is a silver oxidized token of Saint Jude Thaddeus.
Saint Jude is the Patron Saint of Desperate causes, desperate situations, and lost causes. His Feast Day is October 28.
This is a beautiful gift of comfort, especially during times of need and healing.
The cross is secured to a tan coloured rope.
The rope is soft and manufactured in the USA, by a Veteran-owned small business. It's made of up-cycled materials and is waterproof and resistant to most oils and grease. Making it easy to maintain.
The rope we use is strong enough to hold up to years of the door opening and closing but is also soft to the touch. (I've had the same Comfort Door Knots on my door since 2010...it's moved with us from the US to Asia and back, and it still looks good!)
