| Remarks | The heat treatment does not directly improve brake performance. The heat treatment increases the disc resistance against strains and thermal cracking. It also helps maintain stable brake performance for a extended period of time. _x000D_ The surface of the heat treated brake discs has a burnt colour. Once it is used, the burnt surface will be removed by the pad, and changes back to the colour of normal cast iron. Please be aware that the effect of the heat treatment of the disc will not disappear even if the surface colour changes. _x000D_ our processing of the rotor is, we have shipped in the above package. I can sum up this whole book in a single paragraph

Every other page is a stock picture from wherever; while the message and practice are helpful, this should have been a pamphlet instead of a book -remember Cliffsnotes? Look at the author photo in the back of the book and consider it for a moment, what does your gut tell you? Hopefully you too can glean something from it.
