Design and Wear:

Dragon of the Luminous Vale is a gold-plated mixed-metal talisman shaped around protection, vision, and luminous blue energy. At the crown, a cast brass dragon crest sits like a guardian above the gemstone setting, bringing mythic strength and old-world symbolism to the piece.

Below the dragon, the eye-shaped Amethyst sits horizontally in a textured gold-plated bezel, creating a focused violet centre. Its faceted surface reflects flashes of lavender, plum, and soft rose light, giving the pendant a watchful and protective presence.

At the base, the Aqua Aura Quartz Point hangs tip down, forming a clear vertical line of blue light beneath the Amethyst. Its iridescent surface adds a sky and sea glow, balancing the fiery guardian energy of the dragon with calm communication and clear expression.

At approximately 5.4 cm long and 2.7 cm at its widest point, this pendant has a medium statement size with balanced weight and a comfortable flat lay. It can be worn as a Throat Chakra talisman, Crown Chakra pendant, Third Eye Chakra charm, dragon protection necklace, meditation piece, or meaningful gift for someone drawn to mythic symbolism, clear speech, and spiritual protection.

Stone Insights:

Eye-Shaped High Grade Faceted Amethyst:

Amethyst is a violet variety of quartz, formed inside geodes, cavities, and silica-rich rock environments. This high-grade faceted Amethyst is cut into an eye shape, giving the stone a strong visual focus and a sense of watchful clarity. Its saturated violet tone catches light with flashes of lavender, plum, and rose.

Spiritually, Amethyst is connected with intuition, tranquility, spiritual protection, emotional balance, and higher awareness. It resonates strongly with the Third Eye Chakra and Crown Chakra, supporting inner vision, calm thought, meditation, and protection from scattered or heavy energy. Its zodiac associations include Aquarius and Pisces, giving the pendant a reflective, intuitive, and spiritually open quality.

Aqua Aura Quartz Point:

Aqua Aura Quartz begins as natural clear quartz, then receives a permanent bonded finish with vaporized precious metals, giving the crystal its luminous blue iridescence. This Quartz Point carries a clear downward orientation, creating a focused line of energy and light beneath the Amethyst.

Spiritually, Aqua Aura Quartz is connected with calm communication, aura cleansing, energetic release, and truthful expression. It resonates strongly with the Throat Chakra, supporting clear speech, emotional ease, and a more peaceful flow between thought and voice. In this pendant, Aqua Aura Quartz softens and clarifies the guardian energy of the dragon with blue light and calm presence.

Combined Energy:

Together, Amethyst and Aqua Aura Quartz create a talisman of vision and voice, inner sight and clear expression. Amethyst opens intuition and spiritual awareness, while Aqua Aura Quartz clears the field and supports calm communication. The dragon crest adds symbolic guardianship, making the piece feel protective, radiant, and deeply purposeful.

Origin and Authenticity:

Hand selected for clarity, brilliance, structure, and visual presence. Made with certified 925 sterling silver, brass detail, and natural stones. Aqua Aura Quartz is natural quartz with a bonded aura finish. Stones may show small variations, inclusions, flashes, surface details, or optical effects that make this pendant unique.

Sizing and Fit Notes:

Pendant measures approximately 5.4 cm total length including bail and approximately 2.7 cm at the widest point. Medium statement size with balanced weight and comfortable flat lay. Bail fits cords or chains up to approximately 4 mm.

Care and Maintenance:

Gold-plated jewelry should be treated with care to preserve the gold layer. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wear. Store separately in a dry pouch or lined box to prevent scratches. Avoid water, perfume, lotions, chlorine, household cleaners, swimming, bathing, and intense physical activity while wearing the piece.

Do not use polishing cloths, chemical dips, ultrasonic cleaners, or abrasive materials on gold-plated surfaces, as they can wear down the plating. Aqua Aura Quartz should be protected from harsh polishing compounds and abrasive contact to preserve its bonded surface. Amethyst should be protected from hard knocks, rough storage, harsh chemicals, and prolonged direct sunlight.

Gift-ready packaging is included. Each order is packed securely with care. A small gift and discount code may be included with your order.

Phenomenal. A must-read!
Format: Paperback
I first learned about this book only a week ago when visiting my sister for Thanksgiving in Eugene, Oregon. We went to the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art where I saw some work on display by the author, and there was a copy of her book available to look at, so I perused through and decided to buy it and read it. I'm so glad that I did! This is an incredible, poetic story that spans four generations, multiple wars and conflicts, and examines the fragility of the author's relationship with her parents and with her sense of place and motherhood. This book is one of the best I've read in a long time, and the art is moving and beautiful. It gave me new insight into the struggles of refugee life, and created a truly relatable narrative. I devoured this story in one Saturday. I highly recommend it.

A well composed memoir
Format: Paperback
Full review on nguyentoread.com The Best We Could Do is Thi Bui's graphic memoir. Thi was born in Vietnam three months before the Vietnam War reached what we consider to be the end of the war. She came to America with her family in 1978. Bui's memoir spans multiple generations. In learning of her mother's and father's pasts, we learn the history of their parents. We see the struggles and pains of two people from very different walks of life trying to live during a time of war and chaos. We see glimpses of the agony everyone in the middle of the Vietnam War faced. Those who were not directly involved on either side but were caught in the middle of larger powers at war. This memoir more closely details the lives of her parents leading up to them arriving in America and making their life there. I was unsure if this memoir would focus largely on the experience of being a Vietnamese immigrant in America. There were parts that showed how it was for Bui's parents in a country where tensions were still high after the Vietnam War, where discrimination largely due to that was overt, and where degrees were not recognized and people who had spent their lives working and creating careers for themselves were not qualified for most work and had to hurdle multiple challenges to learn a language and complete education all over again if they wanted to provide a better life for their children. What Bui so beautifully captures in this memoir is the why behind how her parents were in raising her. Although Bui was born in Vietnam she was young when her family arrived in America. So I think her experience is one that many first generation Vietnamese-American people of my generation can understand and sympathize with. The wanting to know why their parents are the way they are but unable to ask because many have parents, like Bui's mother, who reluctantly share their stories and don't allow their children that glimpse that could help them better understand. In the panel which was most poignant to me, Bui draws her father as he looks over her work that would become The Best We Could Do. He says "You know how it was for me. And why later I wouldn't be... normal."

Depth to Jedi
Format: Kindle
For years I have read novels and comics about the expanded world of Star Wars, from the legends before the Disney Era to the tragically askew and rushed canonical time line of today (All my opinion of course). However, it is a breath of fresh air to read, however quickly, a story about the Jedi, the expansion of characters previously only seen in other facets of Star Wars Media. Great comic, can’t wait for more! We will be watching your career with great interest!

Kinda underwhelming but still nice (Minor spoilers)
Format: Paperback
First off, I want to say that I loved Jedi: Fallen Order. Besides the technical issues that came with it, I loved the game, it is up there with the best Star Wars IMO (besides that ending). So naturally, I was very excited when they announced a tie-in comic series. I'm not too big into comics but I do have a little collection and enjoy reading them, this was the first one that I was REALLY excited to get. Maybe my expectations were a little too high but it was just...meh...to me. It does tell you why Eno gets obsessed with the Zeffo (or at least how he discovers them) and I appreciate that. It also shows a little of the second sister (not much). However, if you've read Anakin and Obi-wan it's pretty much the same story. I was also a little disappointed with the art of it, it was ok but not as good as the others I've read. Overall, I would still recommend it if you just want some more stories with Cere and Eno Cordova then I can recommend this, it does its job at that and gets a 4/5 (would be 5/5 if the art was better), but if you didn't play Jedi Fallen Order and don't plan to, I'd say skip this one.
