The 300mm High Easy Store Metal Pallet Cage is designed for general storage to contain lighter items on a pallet, especially during transit with a forklift or when stored on pallet racking. This unit combines the advantages of a timber pallet with the versatility and safety of an enclosed metal pallet cage, limiting movement during transit and preventing poorly secured items falling from pallet racking.
Options Available for this Timber Base Pallet Cage
Available in 3 different heights, the user-friendly design of this pallet cage allows both the front and rear gates to be fully removed. The rear gate doubles as a swing gate giving great versatility depending on the picking/ packing location and the quantity of goods inside the unit. These gates help to encourage safe manual handling activities in workspaces. This pallet cage is usually supplied flat packed with a predrilled 8 board hardwood timber pallet – the mesh sides are then easily assembled on-site. If required these units can be delivered assembled. This hardwood timber pallet is constructed using the required lead boards to make this unit pallet rack safe. To improve the longevity of the unit, and also widen the type of goods stored in the mesh pallet cage, this unit is available with a steel sheet floor. This sheet floor can also improve manual handling processes where goods are slid across the pallet cage floor.
Designed as a Stackable Pallet Cage
These units are designed to be stackable pallet cages, with locating brackets attached to all corners of the pallet cage. Metal dividers are also available, allowing for the segregation of different goods inside the cage.
