Hampshire Comedian of the Year Grand Final
After weeks of Heats and Super Saturday Semi Finals, we have reached the pinnacle of the event where we name the winner fo Hampshire Comedian of the Year. Get ready to witness the best up and coming comedians in and around Hampshire as they compete for the prestigious title of "Hampshire Comedian of the Year" at The Attic.
Guest act and Judging Tadiwa Mahlunge
Billed as “one of the country's top new comedy acts” by The York Press, Tadiwa Mahlunge has performed at, among others, the Latitude, Greenman, and Greenwich Comedy Festivals - alongside the biggest names in comedy - and has provided tour support for Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Jessica Fostekew, and TV warm up for Desiree Birch’s Amazon Prime special.
As seen on BBC 1, BBC 2, Dave, Comedy Central, UTV, Comic Relief and heard on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Northampton and BBC Sounds - Tadiwa Mahlunge has established himself as one of comedy’s hottest prospects. As such, he featured on the 2022 Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Additional categories with a trophy up for grabs for young performer (30 and under), Female Comedian and Rookie of the year (those who have only started gigging in the last 18 months). Please notify us if you fall into either of these categories. These categories will be Judged, from those making the Grand Final.
Entry Requirements:
The competition is open to any non-professional act who's been performing for 5 years or less and entries from character acts, musical acts and sketch groups are welcome. The only restriction is that all contestants must live in or around Hampshire up to a distance of 20 miles maximum.
Advance tickets are £10 or £15 on the door.
6.30pm doors for a 7.30pm start.
10pm After party at The Elephant & Castle 40 Commercial Rd, Totton SO40 3AG.
Please note shows have adult themes and content so no under 14's and under 18's need to be accompanied by an adult.
