At the outbreak of the Second World War, Clara Kramer was a typical Polish Jewish teenager, occupied with thoughts of friends, school and family. Confident that the war would be over in a matter of weeks, 18 people crowded into a small basement to wait.
That few weeks turned into nearly two years of confinement, hunger and constant fear of discovery. Clara's War recounts that terrible period of time, as well as the bravery, determination and faith that allowed Clara to survive this terrifying ordeal. Clara (Schwarz) Kramer was born in 1927 in Zolkiew, a town in the Galicia section of Poland (currently a part of the Ukraine). In World War II, she and her family hid from the Germans in an underground bunker for 20 months. After the war, she met her husband Sol Kramer in a Displaced Persons camp, eventually settling in Elizabeth, NJ. The Kramers are active in organizations such as the Jewish Educational Center; the Jewish Federation; the Israel Bonds Organization; the Jewish Family & Children's' Service; the Union County YM & YWHA; and the Holocaust Resource Foundation at Kean University, which they helped to co-found. Perfect remote case!

100% worth every penny for this! Apple seemingly makes their remotes from sheets of aluminum foil, if you fart to close to one, the wind will dent them.
That being said- This case solves that. The fit and finish is apple quality (the quality of their other products, not the remote made of play doh), it doesn’t add much bulk, easy to use and snaps right in place, and has an almost soft feel with some grip so it won’t slide off the arm of a couch or recliner. The red band of color is great for making it stick out and easier to find as well.
10/10 would recommend!

Exceeded expectations.

This simple yet effective case covers the back with a clear plastic window and fully encases the remote's edges. My kids dropped the old remote far too many times, and being made of aluminum, it dented and the IR piece in the front broke. I even bought a new remote, BUT, once I put this case on the old one (gluing the IR window back on), I discovered I no longer need the new remote, as this will last a long long time. I wish I had bought this from the start.
Why didn't I? because I thought it would make it bulkier. Sure it's a little wider, but feels pretty good in the hand, and the weight difference is negligible.
