A Jacketed Coil Condenser is a essential lab equipment, offering superior cooling and condensation. Its coil-in-jacket design ensures maximum heat exchange, improving efficiency of the process, especially when distilling.
Jacketed Coil Condensers are made of Borosilicate glass 3.3 which is resistant to heat and almost all chemicals. These double surface condensers have a coil as an inner cooling surface. This type has approximately twice the surface of a plain double surface condenser of the same effective length, thus especially suited to working with low boiling point media.
Typical application: use as a reflux condenser for condensation and feedback of the (solvent) vapor to the reaction mixture.
