The camera employs the renowned Nikon F mount, ensuring compatibility with a broad range of AI and AI-S Nikkor lenses. Its bright 0.83× eye-level pentaprism viewfinder offers approximately 93% frame coverage and displays shutter speed, aperture, and exposure information directly within the finder. Exposure measurement is handled by a TTL center-weighted metering system, complemented by AE lock, exposure compensation, and TTL flash support with a 1/250s flash sync speed.
