With a single shot from a pistol small enough to conceal in his hand, John Wilkes Booth catapulted into history on the night of April 14, 1865. The assassination of President Abraham Lincoln stunned a nation that was just emerging from the chaos and calamity of the Civil War, and the president's untimely death altered the trajectory of postwar history. But to those who knew Booth, the event was even more shocking--for no one could have imagined that this fantastically gifted actor and well-liked man could commit such an atrocity. In Fortune's Fool, Terry Alford provides the first comprehensive look at the life of an enigmatic figure whose life has been overshadowed by his final, infamous act. Tracing Booth's story from his uncertain childhood in Maryland, characterized by a difficult relationship with his famous actor father, to his successful acting career on stages across the country, Alford offers a nuanced picture of Booth as a public figure, performer, and deeply troubled man. Despite the fame and success that attended Booth's career--he was billed at one point as "the youngest star in the world"--he found himself consumed by the Confederate cause and the desire to help the South win its independence. Alford reveals the tormented path that led Booth to conclude, as the Confederacy collapsed in April 1865, that the only way to revive the South and punish the North for the war would be to murder Lincoln--whatever the cost to himself or others. The textured and compelling narrative gives new depth to the familiar events at Ford's Theatre and the aftermath that followed, culminating in Booth's capture and death at the hands of Union soldiers 150 years ago. Based on original research into government archives, historical libraries, and family records, Fortune's Fool offers the definitive portrait of John Wilkes Booth.Binding Type: Hardcover

Perfectly fitted shorts with great stretch and comfort for the price
Color: 311 White, Size: Large, Color: 311 White, Size: Large
These shorts quickly became a favorite. The fit is spot on — snug in the right places without being restrictive, which gives them a really flattering look. The material feels high quality for the price, and there’s enough stretch built in to make them extremely comfortable for everyday wear.
What stands out most is the value. For the cost, the combination of fit, comfort, and durability is hard to beat. They move easily with you, whether you’re lounging, walking, or being active, and they don’t lose their shape after wear.
Overall, these shorts hit the sweet spot between style, comfort, and affordability. If you want something that looks fitted, feels good, and won’t break the bank, this is an excellent choice.

Very nice shirt, runs a little big depending on how you like it to fit
Color: 311 Black, Size: Medium
We got it specifically for the black and white stripes. My husband typically wears a medium. We buy the WYR shirts for him since they have a tapered, flattering fit. I initially ordered the medium but it was too big and baggy especially in the waist. We ended up getting the small and it fits perfect. I really like the hand of the fabric.

Seems great so far - 3 washes and nothing but good things to say
Color: 311 White, Size: Large
Shirt looks great colors wise and it's lasted perfectly so far in limited washing (cold water + dryer). There's a bit of stretch above and beyond what cotton normally does (from the nylon or lycra I believe) but you can't tell unless you're putting the shirt on.
As for fit - fits me perfectly. I tend to be more of a large in the shoulders and a medium at the waist, but this shirt is great for me. Def more of a fitted look but NOT jersey shore douchey type fitted.
EDIT - +1 year and shirt is still going strong. No rips tears, etc. I've washed cold and warm, tumble dry medium

Comfortable, and surprisingly good quality
Color: 31260 Green, Size: Large
Super comfortable and stretchy, worked great for my chicken little costume. I’ve washed it about 5 or 6 times now and it hasn’t shrunk or gotten pilly or anything.

Good fit, but thin material and average color
Color: 31230 White Black, Size: 3X-Large
The sizing on this T shirt is accurate. It fits well and feels comfortable in terms of shape and length. The cut is true to size, so I did not have any issues there.
However, the material is much thinner than expected. It feels lightweight, which may be fine for hot weather, but it does not feel very premium or durable. I was expecting slightly thicker cotton based on the description.
The color is also not as nice as it appears in the pictures. It looks a bit dull in person compared to the online images.
Considering the thin material and overall quality, the price feels a little high for what you get. It is not a bad shirt, but I expected better value for the money.
Overall, the fit is good, but the material thickness and color quality could be improved.
