Original cloth gilt with stains, damage to spine.  Stains to top and tail page edge.  Black endpapers, front rubbed, paper stuck to it?  Pen and pencil notations to white endpapers.  Foxing spots to maps, title page and stain to contents page.  Creased corner to page 325 and dusty corners 324-327.  Hingecrack to rear.  Text firm and clean.  Bumped corners.  A good copy.
