The compilation takes it's listeners on a personal journey through Bill's 36-year long involvement in the music industry. Whether running DMC's New York offices or labels including Twisted UK and Forensic, being one of Fabric's original residents, or writing (with Frank Broughton) probably the definitive overview of DJ culture, Bill's fingerprints can be found all over dance music's past few decades. Tribal Rites isn't just a "House & Disco Greatest Hits", it's the soundtrack to a life spent at the coalface of record collecting, of early mornings at car boot sales, and late nights logged onto Discogs. Split into three sections, the compilation begins in the post-punk period, and explores the influence of dub on bands like Urang Otan, General Strike, and The Raincoats. The second section takes you into that mish-mash of sounds and styles best described as "Balearic" where the likes of Bobbie Gentry and Final Edition can happily co-exist and a country and western cover of Hall & Oates "I Can't Go For That" seems obvious. The final section showcases what a broad church house music is, accommodating the spiritual yearnings of Mother Tongue and the precision tooled productions of Basic Channel's Maurizio. Tribal Rites is a vital reminder that there's a lot more to DJing than downloading the latest Beatport chart and waving your hands in the air. Presented as a triple CD set (ESK 508743) or over two double LP sets (ESK 508718 and ESK 508719). I hate when I have to leave products a not so good review...
Assembly is harder than it should be, mainly because there shouldn't BE any assembly. I have ordered several room divider privacy screens over the last couple of years and not one of them needed any kind of assembly. With that aside, it STILL was a pain in the sphincter to assemble. One of the "legs" just sits on top of a foot plate - it's not screwed in to anything.
It's kind of flimsy and the base plates don't have anything on them to not scuff up the floor.
With all that said, though, it does stand up and will block out what I need to block out. At the less-than-$50 price-point, it's kind of what should be expected. If I had purchased this outright, I would have considered sending it back and getting a higher quality. But if you only have $50 to spare and don't mind assembling things, it could be good for you.

Great buy

This room divider is exactly what I needed. When you have 2 kids sharing a room and don’t want to spend a lot of money to divide their space this is what you can use. Believe it or not they are much happier now. This came in a small box which scared me but once I was able to get this up I was very pleased. It was easy to put together. The fabric is pretty good quality, it’s stable and stands up fine. Good value and worth it to have peace and quiet in the house.

Horrible. The parts are not right. It won’t fit together or disassemble and can’t return it like this. Parts won’t fit properly and missing holes for screws. Also, can’t get through to a person for any assistance. Picture shows the hole and then the lack of a hole where a screw belongs.

Excellent privacy shade.

This delivered on exactly what it promises. So happy with the quality for the value. The shades are a fabric, nylon like, that are attached with a pocket on one end and velcro that adheres around the bar on the other.
This was incredibly easy and straightforward to put together. Every piece was clearly labeled, coordinated with the instruction sheet, and fit perfectly. Honestly, I wasn’t planning to leave a review but I was so impressed by how clearly labeled and well explained the instructions were that I felt compelled to note it. Especially for anyone who doesn’t like putting things together, or is used to subpar instructions, this is leagues above the rest. It’s such a simple build anyway, but after buying so many things that barely fit as they should, this stands out.
It is lightweight and easy to move. Offers privacy when opened, then can be folded out of the way. It looks exactly as pictured. No complaints, it’s a solid item and worth the price.

Decent quality for the price
Color: Grey
Decent quality for the price. Other privacy screens were extremely out of my budget, but this looks and works just fine- I just needed something simple to place behind my couch to hide some clutter. It took me about a half hour to assemble, but it was easy enough.
It might be due to my carpeting, but I don't trust that the screen would be stable enough to stand freely without falling. Thankfully my
plan all along was to wedge the screen between the couch and a box of clutter anyway, so for me it works as l'd planned!
