It features a removable top cap and a manually adjustable aperture for easy replacement of the spectral lamp, and is designed for use in the classroom. It can be used with Mercury, Sodium, Neon or Helium spectral lamps.
The power supply has a tubular lamp that is mounted on a cylindrical pillar and comes with several apertures. To select the desired aperture for viewing the light source, a ventilated cylindrical black shield with multiple slits and apertures can be rotated.
